Jason Swan knows how it feels to win, and there's nothing he enjoys more than working on some of the highest of standard race cars in New Zealand.
As a highly qualified auto electrician, specialising in all facets of automotive wiring, Jason has worked on custom wiring for cars, bikes and boats, since 1985, which means you can be certain he knows his stuff.
Since 2005, he has focused exclusively on the wiring and setup of high end race cars, utilising mil-spec components and practices, including specialising in custom looms, setup and support for the likes of Motec.
Jason has extensive experience in full system design, build setup and support, for everything from rally, circuit and race cars, right through to land speed racing bikes and cars.

- Qualified auto electrician with strong capabilities in all fuel injection diagnostics’, calibration and set up utilising PC scopes, CAN bus analysers, data and diagnostic software
- Set up and use of a diverse range of tuning software
- Advanced dyno tuning practices, ECU mapping, Mil-Spec wiring, along with industrial looms on high-performance vehicles
- Solid data analysis and sensor calibration expertise, along with fuel injection capability and link engine control units
- Well-developed skills using Motec, Autronic and link engine control units using both chassis and engine dynometers
- Competent in microcontroller architecture and programming
- Extensive experience in MIG, TIG and ARC welding, along with fabrication
- In-depth understanding and practical ability in analogue and digital electronics
- Extensive New Zealand and overseas experience in dyno tuning technology and Mil-Spec loom wiring
- Committed to ongoing learning and implementation of new knowledge
